The LED lights on the HYBRIDTOWER are specified to meet DOT roadway lighting standards. Traditional light towers have lights where the bulb is recessed into a fixture. This protects the fragile bulb in the fixture and also helps protect the user from the extreme heat produced by bulb, up to 1000 F. Because the light is recessed in the fixture, the light output is focused with as much as 80% of the light output beaming straight out. For a typical light tower to light up a wide area, it needs to be pointed into the horizon. This creates issues with glare on roadways, airports, and outdoor events.
The HYBRIDTOWER creates a 150 degree light spread. When the HYBRIDTOWER is in the Patented Street Light mode, issues with glare, light pollution, and DOT lighting studies are nullified. Airports can take advantage of the full functionality of the HYBRIDTOWER and road construction projects no longer need to repair and maintain balloon lighting.
